The Cobbler, Arrochar

I have very fond memories of this one, where my two best friends joined me on a hike up the Cobbler. I must say, it’s fantastically enjoyable to share time, and experiences with those close to you. Even better when they are good company! The day we did this was a superb summer’s day, with the sun splitting the sky for our hike. This mountain is an imposing figure, instantly recognisable from miles around with its distinctive shape. Reaching the summit we were not disappointed with the views! I love the way the summit is marked by this rock outcrop, almost as if nature saw it fit to provide its own monument here.
